An aerospace manufacturing employer is looking for a Digital Technology Site Lead to join their team on-site in their facility in Lansing, MI. The DT Site Lead is the primary person representing Digital Technology at the local site. This facility has over 2,000 employees and focuses on two major areas of business including OEM manufacturing and Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). This person will work closely with the two site General Manager's over both areas to provide support and guidance from a Digital Technology perspective. This person will be responsible for technical systems management and project execution for digital solutions. There is currently a lot of focus around enterprise visual dashboards (including PowerBI) and IIOT integrations, as well as sustainment of localized solutions on the factory floor. This person will work with core DT disciplines, outsourced service providers, and customers to ensure that the overall DT needs and objectives of the business are met. They must have strong and effective communication skills as they will provide updates to leadership and work with key business leaders to understand any DT specific requirements and needs. They will help support SCADA architecture and applications, as well as industrial machine controllers including CNC and PLC. They will provide management of components of DT software life cycle development processes, as well as perform budget and investment planning for any information technology needs across the site. They will help create the DT roadmap for the site based off manufacturing goals set forth. The DT Site Lead should be a very technical individual as they will be responsible for handling any IT incidents that happen at the site, and will need to triage and troubleshoot any and all technical needs that arise and ensure the right teams are looped in to provide a solution.
