Duration: 6+ months

Requirements:
10+ years of C# and Software Development experience
5+ years of SQL Server experience
3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
3+ years of experience with common cloud providers such as Azure or AWS
3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining applications using containers and container orchestration tools
3+ years of experience in configuring cache and message queuing systems with tools such as Redis or RabbitMQ
3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining security plans and disaster recovery plans
3+ years of past architect experience
Preferred: 2+ years of experience with NoSQL, creating and maintaining .NET applications, and transitioning teams from on-prem hosting to cloud hosting
Responsibilities:
Analyzing and recommending architecture solutions
Leading developers in development of system in accordance with defined architecture
Ensuring compliance with standards
Analyzing business practices and processes to determine infrastructure best practice strategies
Assisting with Strategic planning, including applications integration and legacy application strategy
Analyzing hardware and software to assist in the standards determination and setting of processes
Performing cost analysis and modeling to assist in the assessment of the return on investment for projects and computer operations
Recommending changes in hardware, storage, network systems, operating systems, COTS software, security and software design to meet future growth and improve system performance
Assisting with the development of Business Process Models through the architecture/infrastructure lens
Supporting technical teams with architecture/infrastructure implementations
Assisting with the coordination of architectural change in both technical and business environments
Creating and modifying appropriate documentation deliverables that exist within the Systems Engineering Methodology and are required for the State of Michigan standards
Leading and reviewing BA efforts and gathering for completeness for infrastructure efforts.
