Systems Administrator
Job Overview:
The Systems Administrator role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, addressing operational needs, and resolving infrastructure and systems-based tickets. This position is a vital part of the IT Systems Team, supporting enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, Okta, Zoom, Slack, Intune, etc, and security operations platforms. Reporting to the IT Systems Lead, the Systems Administrator, will assist with daily operations, ensuring system availability and performance while providing frontline technical support on systems and to users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily operation and support of enterprise systems, including Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Arc.

Provide frontline troubleshooting for system-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal user disruption.

Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests following ITIL best practices to support ticket management.

Perform routine system checks, patching, and basic compliance tasks to maintain reliability and security.

Document solutions, system configurations, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.

Collaborate with the Systems Administrator Lead, and regional help desk teams to escalate or de-escalate issues to other IT contributors when and where necessary.

Monitor identity and access management systems, such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta, for basic configuration and support tasks.

Act as a first point of contact for users, providing clear and professional communication.

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of enterprise IT systems, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals MS-900, SC-900, and AZ-900) are highly encouraged.
