Summary:
The Systems Network Administrator will focus on maintaining and improving the organization's network infrastructure, including Meraki equipment, network communication systems, and monitoring tools. This role includes ensuring optimal network performance, security, and connectivity across all corporate locations.
Additionally, this position will serve as primary support for Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), including managing conditional access policies and monitoring for risky sign-ins. The role will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the endpoint detection and response (EDR) system, SentinelOne, to ensure system integrity and protection from cyber threats.
Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation is the nation’s largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. This is a hybrid position – working a few days each week in our Southern Indiana corporate office.

You’ll get to:
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks with a focus on Meraki equipment.
- Monitor and optimize network performance using network diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Configure and manage TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, and public IP address schemes.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
- Maintain robust data security through anti-virus systems, spam filters, and data backups.
- Implement and monitor identity management solutions (e.g., RADIUS).
- Monitor SentinelOne for detected threats and take action to resolve them.
- Ensure all SentinelOne agents are kept updated and operational.
- Analyze threat reports and implement preventative measures to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Administer and configure Meraki cloud-based networking solutions, including switches, wireless access points, and security appliances.
- Leverage Meraki dashboards for real-time network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Act as the primary support for Entra ID, managing user identity, access, and authentication.
- Develop, implement, and maintain conditional access policies to secure corporate resources.
- Monitor and address risky sign-ins and identity-related threats using Entra ID tools.
- Assist with escalated HelpDesk tickets related to network, endpoint, and identity management issues.
- Participate in IT team activities, including rotating on-call responsibilities to support a 450-user community.
- Design and implement improvements to the IT, endpoint security, and identity infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, SentinelOne configurations, and identity policy settings.

The most qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of IT support experience, preferably with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and tools.
- Hands-on experience with Meraki solutions and cloud-based network management.
- Proficiency in Entra ID and managing conditional access policies.
- Experience monitoring and managing SentinelOne or equivalent EDR platforms.
- Experience monitoring and mitigating identity-related security risks, such as risky sign-ins.
- Experience with Azure/Entra ID and its related tools preferred
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
