What you’ll do
- Design and develop microservice solutions for existing and new projects, on an Agile team, using Test-Driven Development
- Coach, mentor, and monitor the progress of junior team members
- Technical leadership and development for all stages of the software development life cycle
- Work in conjunction with a project manager on initiatives to determine project requirements as well as resource needs
- Participate in application architecture planning to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability
- Work with our UX team to develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes
- Develop system test plans, ensure software quality assurance standards are achieved, and validate that business goals are achieved
- Provide technical support for production level issues
What sets you apart
- 4-7 years of experience with application development
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others
- Advanced knowledge of product lifecycle management
- In-Depth understanding of microservice architecture
- A history of delivering solutions in an Agile environment
- A demonstrated ability to build rapport as well as a history of maintaining productive, cross-departmental and cross-functional working relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with, and present to, all stakeholders including senior leadership
- Strong organizational, planning, and creative problem-solving skills with critical attention to detail
- A track record of creating observable and resilient applications using languages such as Go, JavaScript, Rust, or Python
