We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in both ReactJS and Python. The ideal candidate will take the lead in a crucial software development project. This role requires a blend of hands-on coding expertise and strategic thinking. This job requires work be performed within the United States.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Develop high-quality code in ReactJS and Python, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, and robustness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the software development with company goals and customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a growing team, eventually taking on direct reports and aiding in team expansion.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to optimize the development process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our software development practices, standards, and tooling.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a proven track record in ReactJS and Python.
- Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- US Citizens or permanent residents only.
- Veterans preferred.
Preferred
- Experience leading a development project or a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of: GraphQL, SPAs, Federated identity/SSO.
