Description
We are in search of a Lead Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on network monitoring, device management, server administration, and security expertise. The Lead Infrastructure Administrator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of our information systems, providing efficient solutions and maintaining the highest level of data security.
Responsibilities:
Oversee network operations, including the management of Extreme switches and network segmentation.
Utilize Auvik for proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting.
Administer IT asset management and patching using VSP 10 RMM.
Employ Jamf Business for Apple device configuration and compliance.
Manage Windows-based services, such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, and server roles.
Administer Linux-based networking services, including DHCP, DNS, and firewalls.
Coordinate operations on cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure and hybrid cloud architecture.
Oversee Google Workspace for user and security administration.
Implement Veeam backup solutions and lead disaster recovery planning.
Manage Kantech Access Control systems and Wave Sync Security Cameras.
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection to ensure high-level security.
Enforce policies and maintain compliance across multi-platform environments.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or field
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
Demonstrable skills in Citrix Technologies
Expertise in Cloud Technologies
Experience with Dell Technologies
Knowledge of Firewall Technologies
Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies
Proficiency in Active Directory
Experience with Backup Technologies
Ability to perform Cluster Analysis
Strong understanding of Computer Hardware.
