Our organization, a leading player in the healthcare industry, is seeking a seasoned, dynamic, and solution-oriented Sr. System Administrator. This is a permanent, hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work model. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Virtualization, Servers, Access Points, GPO, and Group Policy. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and a passion for leveraging technology to drive organizational success.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. System Administrator, your key responsibilities will include
- Managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, access points, and virtual environments.
- Implementing and managing GPO and Group Policies to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
- Planning and executing system upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to support the organization's operational needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT systems.
- Conducting regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Providing guidance and technical support to other IT staff members.
- Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure the organization's IT infrastructure remains current.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proven experience with Virtualization, Servers, Access Points, GPO, and Group Policy.
- A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, system security, and data privacy principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or VCP will be an added advantage.
