We're looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team, spearhead the development of innovative AI-driven tools, and scale our products to serve adults around the globe.
The Role
As CTO & Co-Founder, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology vision for Foorest. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge AI products, including AI agents, chatbots, and tools that enhance user connection, engagement, and discovery. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only build the technology that powers friendships but also co-create the future of Foorest as part of its founding leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Scale Technology Products: Build technology solutions to help adults make friends, such as conversational agents, personalized recommendation engines, and virtual spaces/experiences.
- Product Development: Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable technology products, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee the full technology stack and make key decisions on tools, infrastructure, and frameworks that align with our growth ambitions.
- Innovate with AI Agents: Create AI agents that act as guides, facilitators, and connectors for users within our community.
- Team Building: Grow and lead a world-class tech team as we scale.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the founding team to shape company strategy, product roadmap, and monetization opportunities.
Who You Are
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in development roles, with experience leading the design, development, and deployment of AI products, chatbots, or machine learning systems.
- AI Expertise: Strong background in building and integrating AI solutions (e.g., NLP, AI agents, recommendation systems).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in modern development frameworks and languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.), familiar with Agent Development Platforms (e.g. Botpress), and experienced in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Startup Mindset: Passionate about joining an early-stage team with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
