CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) Business Analyst (BA). In support of DHS’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, the IDaaS BA will work as part of small team responsible delivering cyber capabilities to a group of small Federal agencies. The BA will support the IDaaS team in all aspects of the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of Identity Management capabilities delivered through a cloud-based shared service. The position provides the opportunity to expand your horizons by working with many Federal agencies, multiple cybersecurity capabilities, and an industry-leading cloud-based shared services solution. Because the IDaaS offering is comparatively new, significant effort will be devoted to developing and enhancing the offering, introducing new features across the program, evaluating the effectiveness of aspects of the program, and implementing incremental improvements.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate all client meetings, creating agendas and minutes
- Conduct and document assessments of Agency network configurations, security policies and IT roadmaps
- Coordinate and prepared all contract deliverables for the assigned Federal agencies, including the Agency Cutover Plan and SELC documentation
- Conduct SELC gate reviews, including preparation of all documentation and client coordination
- Support budgeting and resource planning for Agency cutovers, including level of effort estimates, hardware, software, and cloud costs
- Maintain a detailed project schedule of Agency activities and regularly provide inputs to the projects Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Identify, develop and implement processes to improve scheduling and coordination efforts in delivering the services associated with the associated tasks for the assigned group or agency
- Assist with the drafting and review of technical and user guides and presentations to be distributed to agency users related to the deployment, configuration, and management of Identity Management solutions
- Support procurement-related activities and processes to help participating agencies acquire and renew software products related to Identity Management
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent written verbal communication skills
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Experience translating complex technical and analytical concepts into clear and concise documents
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
- Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels and demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with government officials and program office stakeholders
- Ability to balance and prioritize many diverse tasks at once
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Technical writing experience
- Training or professional experience with using or configuring Identity and Access Management solutions
- Training or professional experience with using or configuring Microsoft Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID
- Training or professional experience with using or configuring Privilege Access Management solutions
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $190,900.00.
