General Information:
Hitachi Energy Transformers- Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a NAM HUB IT Analyst who will provide overall support to the NAM HUB BST team working directly for the Business Solutions (NAM HUB) IT Manager.
As IT Analyst you support the BST Management team by managing, monitor, and analyzing IT demand request, IT projects, as well as our Strategic Digital Transformation projects. You will hold responsibility of organizing and preparing governance materials, meetings, and preparation of financials and executive presentations.
Your role will also act as an operational IT support for the BST management team for general IT operational and administrative tasks including aggregated financial and performance reporting.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the evaluating, building, managing and delivering of specific solutions and services that meet the business needs and requirements. This may also include performing work as well as specific solutions and services in relation to the platform, architecture, infrastructure or security requirements needed to meet the required objectives.
- Administering and supporting various IT aspects, including but not limited to the IT Systems Software, Hardware, and Databases, Data & Voice Networks, Data Processing Operations
- Conducting a cost/ benefit analysis for the proposed IT projects/ solutions as well as proposed input to the organization’s general roadmap.
- Collaborate with IT Service Managers, Application Managers, Solution Architects and Specialists to estimate the effort for IT solution/services development, change requests and releases.
- Responsible for entire requirements demand management process. Ensure that the final solution meets business objectives and adds to the bottom line.
- Capture, document, analyze, trace, prioritize and agree “End to End” IT application / platform/ solution/ service delivery.
- Manage BU IT project tracking tool incl. monitor and analyzing of projects
- Responsible as a project manager for assigned projects including analyze project progress, financials and resources
- Create related reports
- Create and prepare HE IT Demands and all related documentation as preparation for decision
- You are responsible to run the process from idea - analyze - decision to continue - prepare proposal
- Support the BU IT Managment in year planning and budget definition
- Support the BU IT Management in daily activities

Your Background:
- Bachelors Degree in business administration, Computer Science/Information Technology, electrical or mechanical engineering OR equivalent with 5 years work experience.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Good understanding of budgeting process and reporting
- Good knowledge of procure to pay process in SAP/Ariba
- Solid experience in IT Demand management and Project management preferably using Service Now.
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics
- 3-5 years of experience in specific application portfolios
- Good understanding of related business and its processes
- Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders
- 5 years of experience in supporting IT in manufacturing organization preferred
