Program Architect
The Opportunity:
As a Program Architect, you’ll drive planning, implementation, modernization and sustainment of global, C2ISR weapon systems' IT hardware, software, networks and services. You will also need to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies and keep an eye out for any software, services or hardware that might improve mission operations and sustainment. You’ll work across organizations and teams, determining the best possible outcome for today and tomorrow’s operators. Your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be put to practice to ensure strategic design, execution, and sustainment for these critical IT systems are well defined, understood, and executable. Other skills and expertise include cloud computing, system architecture, strategy development, and enterprise solutioning.
This role requires complex thinking and strategizing to ascertain which legacy systems can be updated, what software or hardware can be replaced, and what future, innovative services or products will support DoD mission operations.
You will work with DoD Senior Leaders to understand Branch, Division, and PEO mission and goals and collaborate with Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Systems Engineers to execute plans that achieve those organizational goals. You'll assist with the alignment of processes and resources to effectively accomplish planned and ad-hoc tasks. You will work across key stakeholders to support the development and sustainment of an integrated architecture and engineering-based plan that captures programs, initiatives, and investment and sustainment strategies supporting the modernization of DoD systems. You'll support the assessment of new technologies and innovations and develop technical recommendations that support evolving C2ISR and Sensor requirements. You will provide expert analysis and recommendations on future requirements, budgeting strategies, resource allocation, and program prioritization.

You Have:
15+ years of experience with supporting DoD, Joint, or AF C2ISR systems or programs
Experience with supporting government program strategic planning, providing content and process advice for strategic direction, and researching and collecting information to provide analysis of programs
Experience with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Confluence
Knowledge of DoD Acquisitions and Sustainment Policies
Ability to lead teams across multiple disciplines
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
10+ years of experience with supporting AF DCGS, AOC, or Sensors Integration
Knowledge of DoD budgeting processes, including POM builds, budget justification, and execution
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment while delivering results
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field preferred; Master's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field a plus
DAWIA Level II or III Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
