Role Description:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX. In this role, you will contribute to our organization's commitment to maintaining strong governance, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and provide actionable insights to mitigate organizational risks.
- Monitor adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine compliance and audit processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for audits, risk analysis, and compliance reviews.
- Stay informed on emerging regulations and industry trends to ensure proactive compliance.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to address risk and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GRC certifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of GRC concepts, principles, and practices.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn uncertainty into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive and driven approach, with a can-do attitude and a focus on delivering results.
Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in information security, risk management, audit, or compliance roles.
- Hands-on exposure to GRC tools or platforms is an advantage.
