Overview
Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a
CLEARED Azure DevOps Engineer in their
Lorton, VA location. In this role, you will provide expertise in Cloud, Systems Engineering, and Cybersecurity, and will support the development and sustainment of unique secure enclaves at the edge, that provide enterprise services and cyber network defense capabilities to customers across the DoD.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be
US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Review and automate workload deployments with customer site specific requirements
- Design, develop, and build automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver solutions
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions into the production environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers to solve complex problems
Qualifications
- 8+ years demonstrated performance in related field or technologies
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms (strong preference for Azure)
- 1+ year of experience with template based IaC tools (such as Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
- 1+ year of experience with scripting languages (such as PowerShell, DSC, Azure CLI)
- 1+ years of experience with Windows imaging to include scripting silent application installation, creating automation to support imaging, testing and deploying created images
Bonus Points If You Have
- 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area
- Technical Certifications, such as:
- Microsoft AZ104, AZ305, AZ500, AZ600
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, CEH
Travel

- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance.
Compensation And Benefits
- Salary range of $108K-$193K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
