Cyber Grants Policy Analyst, Junior
The Opportunity:
To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization such as in a merger or split-up, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.
That’s why we need you, a management consultant who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As a general management consultant on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before.
You will assist with policy development and provide grants support and strategy implementation to support the federal government's initiatives to assist state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies, particularly in improving the nation’s cybersecurity and emergency communications capabilities. You’ll apply consulting skills, including data collection, analysis, writing, listening, and note-taking, with preparedness grants knowledge to help define project requirements, conduct analyses of funding opportunities and issues impacting the public safety community, help develop case studies, support stakeholder engagement meetings, document and compile notes, support grant recipient monitoring, and apply verbal and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables, including congressional reports and briefing slides, and leading discussions with clients and stakeholders. You’ll draft reports on critical aspects of emergency communications technology, including operability, interoperability, continuity, resiliency, cybersecurity, and maturity, and funding concerns through briefings, whitepapers, or stakeholder engagement.
This is your chance to gain experience in assisting with federal grants policy development and management while learning new consulting skills. Work with us as we help our country's cybersecurity preparedness evolve.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
