Millwright
Summary
A Millwright must be able to troubleshoot and repair all mechanical operations of heavy industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, pipe fitting and read blueprints. Must be a proficient welder (steel) and be able to fabricate from prints or without.

Essential Functions
Identify and repair problematic parts of a machine by reading blueprints, running tests, making repairs, or installing new parts with minimal supervision
Work in full compliance with approved safety regulations and always wear appropriate PPE
Assist with layout and placement of equipment and machinery in plant setting to ensure minimum downtime
Must be able to weld and accept training for out of position certification if needed
Complete preventive maintenance as scheduled, correct potential issues, remove worn out pieces, lubricate mechanical parts and document actions as part of the preventive maintenance plan
Maintain water system in pump house and all related duties
Use machinery or equipment, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, to move mechanical parts
Other duties as assigned
Required Education/Experience/Knowledge
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude in dealing with hand tools, saws, sockets, ratchets, pneumatic impacts, drills, taps, and any other tools or equipment necessary for the job
Good computer skills and working knowledge of a variety of mechanical systems
3+ years of experience working in manufacturing related maintenance
Must be able to drive a forklift
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

Good at adhering to strict safety guidelines and cognizant of safety risks
Physical Qualifications
A qualified candidate must be able to:
Lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
Sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb and walk for extended periods of time
Work in all types of temperatures and in a manufacturing environment
Climb ladders and operate powered man lift to 50 feet
Wear all PPE requirements including, but not limited to ear protection, steel toe shoes, safety glasses and/or goggles, hard hat, situation approved clothing, face shield, and gloves to fit the job
General Information
General Production hours – 5:30am to 4pm (M – Th) Note: Overtime is a common part of production
A continuous learning attitude on production and company related areas is encouraged
