Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are Colorado-specific.

Colorado Pay Range: from $61,000 to $148,000 per annum eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities

As a member of the technical/process QA division, design, install, and evaluate quality control methods and systems;

Design continuing maintenance of product quality;
Develop professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues;
Display understanding of roles, processes, and procedures;
Perform moderately complex problems solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes;
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Automation

Develop and execute automated test scripts for requirement validation, regression, performance, security, accessibility and compliance testing
Create and maintain a reusable and configurable set of automated tests.
Identification and creation of reusable test data, particularly for automated testing
Develop quality assurance standards and track quality assurance activities
Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements
Participate in test strategy, test estimation and planning discussions
Draft test artifacts, including Test Plans, Business Test Scenarios and Requirements Traceability Matrices
Create and maintain change tickets related to testing initiatives
Create and execute Selenium scripts to be used for test validation
Document test results and assist with defect management
Produce status reports related to the testing process, including test results and defect tracking
Perform analysis related to enhancements to applications
Review and maintain all project documentation in accordance with department procedures
Assist with technical artifacts (such as use cases and system specifications) and engage in technical discussions
Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies
Participate in Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions, and identify potential work process improvements
Communicate effectively with constituents at all levels
Assist with team training as needed
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related and relevant to functional area;
2+ years of software engineering or related experience;
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with developers, users and peers in design and feedback sessions;
Experience in requirements gathering and documentation;
Experience with various automation frameworks;
Experience with Test tools (Bug tracking, Life Cycle Management, Test Management);
Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux);
Experience with Oracle DB's;
Experience with PL/SQL;
Basic system/network administration knowledge (DHCP, Firewall, Wireless);
Programing/Development experience;
Worked with Java, JSON, API services;
