DescriptionWork with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.
Work closely with Oracle's internal business and development teams to drive the technical/functional global implementation of Oracle's applications internally. The main responsibilities may include: Manage all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues and communications. Define business specifications with the internal user community for the global deployment of the application. Define and drive business specifications for product and component integration points. Map standard application functionality to global/local business specifications. Manage product gaps from business specifications to product enhancement and/or business process change. Manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams. Manage all aspect of product rollout and coordination with internal teams. Define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications. Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts. Manage user acceptance testing and transfer of information to internal teams. Provide technical support for implemented applications; diagnosing and reporting bugs, applying patches and upgrades as needed. Establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company's information processing systems. Coordinate with functional departments involved to collect system specifications, techniques, and controls. Interact with senior management within Product Development, Business organizations and Global IT.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Individual should hold at least eight years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

Enterprise Risk and Finance (ERF) is an evolving product engineering team within Oracle FSGBU (Financial Services Global Business Unit) with a suite of industry leading products. The focus of this team is to develop compelling products and services around Risk, Finance, Treasury and Regulatory Reporting for the Banking and Insurance industry. These products are built on a unified data architecture leveraging a combination of Oracle’s latest technology offering together with best-in-class open-source technologies. This requires a focus on high performance computing for analytical workloads including the use of embedded artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) capability.
Our group’s goal is to help accelerate our existing customers journey to the cloud and launching new customers to our Cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for SaaSOps Engineers to manage these Cloud Services. Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain deployment tools/procedures for applications
- Support and troubleshooting of Non-Production/Production environments
- Creation/deployment of new environments, systems, projects, etc
- First response for alerts
- Capacity planning
- Hardware requests
- Ensure production security standards are followed
- Ensure monitoring is robust and effective
- Zero downtime deployments and a high availability mindset
Required Skills:
- B.E., B-Tech, BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- 7 to 8+ years of overall experience in IT industry
- Enthusiastic self-starter with 7 to 8+ years industry experience delivering software as a service in a modern DevOps culture
- Experience managing fault tolerant web platforms with 99.99+ availability in public cloud providers such as OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure
- Knowledge on deploying, configuring and managing highly available applications in Cloud using DevOps practices
- Experience working as a SaaSOps engineer; preferably on web applications or large scale systems
- Self-starter with the ability to work from minimal guidance
- Candidate must have good hands on experience with containerization and clustering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipeline, GIT, GitBash, Kafka
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Cloudlab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc)
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and Object Oriented Design principles
- Good understanding / background of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux, DNS, Network, Firewalls and Security).
- Strong systems architecture skills
- Strong Linux administration
- Strong grasp of automation including demonstrated experience
- Strong knowledge of system configuration tools such as Chef,Terraform, GIT, Jenkins/Hudson, Artifactory
- Oracle Tech Stack, e.g. Java, Weblogic, Oracle Database, RDBMS knowledge
- Able to configure in a programmatic manner: Icinga, Sensu, or similar monitoring tools
- Continuous Integration development/deployment, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of configuring Kibana, Grafana, Elastic Search and related monitoring tools
- Large scale web applications
- Big data applications: Hadoop, Solr, Kafka
- Networking: DNS, HAProxy, IP Tables, Firewall
- Good written and Oral communication skills.
- Should be able to collaborate with the off-shore team for enabling 24x7 operations
- Should be able to handle customer calls during meetings, escalations and troubleshooting
