OT Network Administrator – Bennettsville, SC
SUMMARY
The OT Network Administrator will support the Automation Manager in safely and reliably managing the OT/ICS infrastructure in all aspects of the Arauco Carolina Particleboard facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain the OT network infrastructure and related components
- Act as liaison between process OT and business IT teams
- Review and recommend network-related hardware and software technologies, designs, and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, application, and system issues
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, backup & recovery systems, firewalls & DMZ, network switches, software applications, SQL servers, VMWare environment, etc.
- Support current and legacy computer systems in OT environment (WinXP through Win10/Server 2019)
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment as needed
- Manage licensing, renewals, and support agreements
- Respond to equipment downtime issues in the plant and establish any required outside resources to assist in responding to issues quickly
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without interruption of production
- Willingness to develop skills in specific control disciplines such as human machine interfaces (HMI), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Minimum two (2) year Technical Degree and/or at least two years IT/networking experience required.
- Must have proficient knowledge of operating systems, network systems, and IT architecture
- Must have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of network communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus, OPC, etc.)
- Understanding of network threats and appropriate mitigation techniques
- Experience with Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with VMWare Vsphere environments
- Experience with Studio5000 and FactoryTalk View
- Experience with OPC clients and servers
