Job Summary
Maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware and networks of a company or organization, making sure that its technological infrastructure is running properly
Primary Responsibilities
Install and configure software and hardware
Manage network servers and technology tools
Set up accounts and workstations
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Qualifications:
Experience with some level of systems administration
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

Years of experience Required: Really depends on the balance between certs/school/and work history. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Networking and Microsoft Certifications are a plus. Associate degree in networking or IT with 2-4 years experience would be ideal.
Work Hours/Schedule: Rotating Shiftwork 12 hour day/night 7a to 7p shifts. Overtime coverage for other shifts is expected.

Training Schedule/Hours: M-F 10 or 12 hour days, until fully trained (the last time we trained someone, I gave them the opportunity to work as much as they wanted. Willing to pay OT if it accelerates the process)
