Management Responsibilities
- Account Setup: Initial configuration of OCI account, managing users and their roles.
- Resource Allocation: Allocating and de-allocating resources like Virtual Machines, databases, storage, etc.
- Billing and Cost Management: Monitoring usage and costs and setting budgets and alerts.
Security Responsibilities
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Setting up policies, users, and roles for secure access.
- Data Encryption: Implementing encryption at rest and in transit.
- Firewall Rules: Setting up security lists and Network Security Groups (NSGs) to regulate inbound and outbound traffic.
Networking Responsibilities
- Virtual Cloud Network (VCN): Configuration and management.
- Load Balancer: Setup and management for distributing incoming application or network traffic.
- VPN and Fast Connect: Setting up secure connections to the cloud infrastructure.
Storage Responsibilities
- Block Storage: Create, attach, backup, and restore.
- Object Storage: Store and manage unstructured data.
- File Storage: Manage shared file storage solutions.
Compute Responsibilities
- Virtual Machines (VMs): Provisioning, monitoring, and management.
- Containers: Using services like Oracle Kubernetes to manage containerized applications.
- Serverless: Managing and deploying functions using Oracle Functions.
Database Responsibilities
- Database Provisioning: Create, configure, and delete databases.
