Bellwether is an established IT managed service provider located in the New Orleans area, serving small to medium-sized businesses across the region. This position is responsible for the completion of various IT-related projects. Assist with the engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and on schedule. Assistance with handling a full range of remote and onsite work such as maintenance for servers network infrastructure, enterprise workstations, Microsoft 365, ans Azure. Our “can-do” associates are asked to handle a wide variety of issues such as desktop/laptop support, networking configurations, line-of-business software problems, server support, and more.
Requirements for this full-time position include:
- Five years of IT experience.
- Customer Service orientation.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Some college coursework required; degree preferred.
- Must be a team player.
Beneficial Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 ).
- Networking technologies, including cabling topologies, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, and interconnecting LAN/WAN communication protocols.
- MCP, Network+, Security+, MCSA certifications are preferred but not necessary.
- Microsoft, CCNA/CCDA certifications is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 is required.
- Experience with Linux is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure environment is required.
