We are currently seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This hands-on technical role focuses on public cloud technologies within a cross-platform engineering group responsible for our core technology infrastructure. As part of our team, you will have the chance to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of critical systems, with a primary focus on public cloud integration and its seamless collaboration with on-premises systems. Your responsibilities will include automating the management of our public cloud infrastructure, providing guidance on best practices to developers and peer teams, and ensuring adherence to our firm's security policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, from a highly regarded university.
- Extensive knowledge of modern cloud environments, preferably GCP/AWS/Azure, including their security features, limitations, and various deployment options.
- Proficiency in coding infrastructure products using Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Previous experience handling mid-size cloud deployments (hundreds to thousands of nodes) is essential.
- In-depth familiarity with storage and networking configuration options from diverse cloud providers is a prerequisite.
