Revenue Auditor
General Job Description
A Revenue Auditor performs complex auditing and clerical work in connection with the maintenance of financial records and ensures compliance with internal controls and company policy. The auditor will conduct daily revenue audits for Casino Operations Departments such as Cage, Table Games, Sportsbook, Ticketing, Retail, and Food and Beverage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and reconcile revenue and other financial and statistical information for all revenue departments utilizing various accounting systems and reports.
- Research, investigate, and correct financial data variances and discrepancies.
- Reviews source documents from various gaming areas for compliance with minimum internal controls and company policies.
- Performs daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policy and procedures and documents the results of the audit.
- In coordination with the Revenue Audit Manager and/or Lead Revenue Auditor, prepare any requested financial or statistical analysis reports.
- Enter daily revenue Information into journal entry format for general ledger preparation, if necessary.
- Produces audited and unaudited reports for each department as needed in a timely manner.
- Ensures proper filing and storage of audit paperwork.
- Provides required support to external auditors, Gaming Representatives, and Internal Compliance as needed.
- Uses discretion in working with sensitive and confidential records.
Education and Training
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Must have one (1) year or more of casino experience or related accounting field and/or education experience.
- Must have strong computer skills in excel, word, and email applications

- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into small units of measure, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read, research, compile data, and comprehend simple instructions to analyze complex data in order to draw appropriate conclusions.
- Ability to allocate time and resources efficiently to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely, focusing on ever-shifting priorities.
- Ability to have strong teamwork, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
- Able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer analyzing financial information in a typical office setting.
- Able to perform moderate lifting of 30 lbs. or more. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift and reach.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, and tenkey by touch.
- Ability to be self-directed in clerical projects and handle multiple tasks.
