We’re seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll leverage a variety of tools and technologies to improve our infrastructure, automate deployments, and enhance our continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. This role requires a candidate who thrives in collaborative environments, values Agile methodologies, and possesses strong troubleshooting skills.
What you'll work on:
- Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on high availability, scalability, and security best practices
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab SaaS for streamlined code integration and deployment
- Develop comprehensive infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform and Ansible to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and Golang to optimize operational processes
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for efficient microservice deployment
- Configure and manage complex networking components including VPNs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers
- Implement and maintain robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and Zero Trust security principles
- Lead infrastructure troubleshooting efforts and serve as a subject matter expert on Azure practices
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, using Jira for project tracking and maintaining team transparency
- Manage code repositories and artifact management through GitLab and Artifactory
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility
- Deep expertise in:
- Azure cloud services and best practices
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab, Artifactory)
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
- Python or Golang programming for automation
- Networking concepts and security principles
- Strong foundation in Agile methodologies with experience in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities with a track record of resolving complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Azure certifications are a plus
