We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager to support our National Science Foundation (NSF) customer.
Place of Performance: Alexandria, VA
Start Date: Contingent on contract award
Clearance: Top Secret
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall direction of the program
- Serve as Liaison between the contract, subcontract, and government
- Accountable for ensuring contract deliverables are submitted on time and within established quality criteria
- Accountable for all staff performance and performance-related issues
- Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on program activities to ensure efficient implementation of internal processes and procedures
- Manages short- and long-term organizational goals. Monitors and evaluates staff and program effectiveness
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Cyber Security and Program Management
- IASAE Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification) and PMP
- Experience in deploying secure systems in government or military environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of NIST security controls, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Understanding of system security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of leading teams and projects
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading an Enterprise-wide program with departmental stakeholders
- Ability to develop and implement a security program that align with strategic initiatives and emerging technologies
