Expertise - Remote office infrastructure configuration and support (RODC, AD, file shares,
DFS replication).
MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10+ years of experience
Required to Support Client Remote Office Stack - Servers, Networks, Desktops and Security
Experience Supporting Clients having multiple locations. This Team will support about 180
locations worldwide
Candidate has to support all stacks of Infrastructure in remote office locations from
Server (Windows & VMWare),
Networking (CISCO Switches & routers), Active Directory, DFS,VPN
Desktop (Window x.x, VMWare VDI)
Security (Firewall – CISCO / Juniper / CheckPoint or Any Other)
Candidate needs to have experience in supporting & managing end to end remote office.
Minimum experience in 3-5 years in VMware with expert level skills in VM Ware and Cisco Networking
Functions:
Provides design, installation, configuration and consulting services for the local, wide-area , Internet and remote access networks, including components such as switches, routers , links, cabling, operating
systems, servers, storage arrays, directory systems, management and backup systems
Consults with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs, and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.
Qualifications:
Knowledge - Comprehensive knowledge in multiple areas of networking, such as network infrastructure, data communications and protocols, file servers and application servers in different software environments, database technology, remote access, security, web technologies, directory services and messaging, extensive technical knowledge and experience of installing, configuring and maintaining network infrastructure components;
Skilled in the application of advanced network management and diagnostic tools for predictive analysis and problem resolution;
Proven expertise in the operation, administration, maintenance and engineering of enterprise networks and/or server environments.
Strong understanding of security architecture and tchnologies. Able to consult with business on solutions and risk analysis.

Unique Skill-Set:
Must possess extensive expertise in maintaining
Windows 2008/2012 R2 and/or UNIX (AIX and Linux) systems.
Must have in-depth knowledge of server hardware
(rack mount and blade) and operating system internals.
Must understand all aspects of server lifecycle
management (baseline development, provisioning, patch management, configuration
management, backup/recovery and decommissioning).
Must have a general knowledge of networking
technologies including switching, routing and network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP)
and network addressing.
Must understand application architecture and
have experience developing server infrastructure designs in support of
application deployment.
Must have experience with server virtualization
technologies including VMWare and/or IBM LPARs.
Must have experience with directory services
(especially MS Active Directory) and account management for Windows and UNIX
environments.

infrastructure management tools
Server security solutions including, for
example, anti-virus, host-based IDS/IPS, baseline compliance
monitoring/reporting and change monitoring systems,
Troubleshooting in a large and complex server
environment.
