JOB DESCRIPTION:
Exciting opportunity to apply your Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) subject matter expertise to some of the country’s largest consumers of these technologies and processes. You will be responsible for working with the client and other internal technical team members to develop, document and support device endpoint business cases that transforms that knowledge into EMM tool and related system configurations and other support documentation that a service desk can use. Support the life-cycle planning and roll-out activities for mobile endpoint devices. This role is truly exciting as the successful candidate will work in all aspects of delivery of our Managed Mobile Services through supporting our kitting and configuration teams, consulting delivery, pre-sales, and service desk.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Strong command of EMM platforms including installation, troubleshooting, profile development, upgrades and integration tasks.
- Provide engineering and technical EMM administration support and contribute to solution designs for EMM platforms.
- Assist in execute the design, development, engineering, and translation of complex business requirements into viable technical plans, projects and support documentation.
- Provide L3 troubleshooting and support for escalated Enterprise Mobility issues
- Assist with coordination of delivered Enterprise Mobility project work products (e.g. documents, diagrams, functionality of deployed solutions) to service desk and operational engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documents from delivered or proposed EMM projects. Support technology proposals, support processes, business cases, and project plans.
- As a principle Mobility Engineer within the organization, assist in deployment strategies, options and proposals to management and interested stakeholders, including Senior Management.
- Assist with recognizing and identifying potential areas where existing policies, procedures or technology standards require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
- Gracefully influence, and be gracefully influenced by, colleagues in this highly collaborative, goal-oriented environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
5 to 8 + years related technology experience.
Requires deep knowledge of EMM/MDM/MAM platforms utilized within an Enterprise. Strong macOS and Apple iOS/Android mobile device smart handsets and secure connectivity methods of these devices/systems in the enterprise as well as a broader knowledge of operating systems, networks, firewalls, and databases. Understanding of steps, processes to deploy iOS and Android applications within the Enterprise, e.g via EMM or Apple Configurator. Demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving skills and project management skills are all required. Must be able to provide small team leadership to groups possessing varied levels of technical knowledge. Must be able to interact with various client business unit IT end-users, including leadership, when needed. Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, change and problem management processes will be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience designing, implementing, managing and/or supporting many of the following specific hardware and software products/systems:
AirWatch 9.x/WorkSpaceONE, JAMF Pro, Samsung Knox highly desired. Other: Mobile Iron, MS InTune, IBM MaaS360; iOS, Android OS, Apple DEP and Samsung Knox configuration and EMM integration, MS Active Sync/Azure Integrations, SCEP/PKI Certificate Integrations, iOS Mobile Configuration Utilities, Microsoft Server OS, VMWare. iOS, Android application development experience a plus. Enterprise application deployment via MDM tools and good understanding of the process to convert mobile app to a deployable Enterprise app.
Strong business and technical procedure writing/diagraming and communication skills. Strong PowerPoint and Visio skills. Strong Business Process Charting experience desired
Having any automated scripting experience using csh/tcsh/bash/swift/python/pearl/powershell/javascript or other modern scripting languages highly desired. Experience with Linux or Unix administration desired.
