We are looking for a Professional Development Specialist to join our team on a new effort supporting our Federal Government Client in Washington, D.C. This role will support the analysis and development of our client's enterprise systems, including services related to the Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE) environment and the Digital Transformation Office (DTO).
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
• Assisting in the development of INFOSEC training and professional development projects and activities
- Curriculum developer for various cybersecurity training for the INFOSEC workforce: System Owner training, Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA)/Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) training, and other topics as assigned
- Researcher and administrator for external training activities
• Assisting in researching, reviewing, and editing training and planning documents, such as:
- Cybersecurity Workforce Training Plan
- Cybersecurity Workforce Development Plan
- INFOSEC Handbook
• Lead the conduct of training projects
- Originator and lead for the Cybersecurity Professional Competency Standards (CPCS) project, developer of competency standards
- Project lead and administrator for INFOSEC Institute Skills Platform
• gathering and analyzing workforce role specific information,
• locating gaps in current training and developing new training presentations to fill those gaps,
• monitoring training programs provided to personnel,
• developing long term workforce development solutions
• providing assistance drafting position descriptions,
• providing guidance and expertise on other inter-unit projects as needed,
• assisting with conducting large scale webinars and training activities,
• conducts training vendor research to ensure the government customer is receiving the best training programs
Must be proficient in:

• Training Platform monitoring
