Our Community Options Mental Health team provides support to people in the community and their homes, so they can live a meaningful and enjoyable life. This is an opportunity to take your mental health experience further and learn new skills while partnering with a diverse group of individuals who experience persistent and severe mental illness.
This position oversees our Bentley facilities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Mentoring Recovery Partners and communicating effectively with outside agencies, professionals, and family members.
- Producing person-centered summaries and reports and providing medication administration.
- Providing leadership to all staff and assisting in day-to-day management within the Community Options Site.
- Establishing and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and protocols around intake and assessments.
- Coordinating with clinical and care staff to deliver appropriate activities that support best practice.
- Ensuring Recovery Partners are recovery-focused and goal-oriented and have working relationships with clients.
- Participating in verbal and written handovers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Identifying opportunities for education, training, and employment.
About You
You can demonstrate an understanding of recovery principles that adopt recovery-oriented and person-centered practice. You will ideally have experience in leading and motivating a team of Recovery Partners to deliver person-centered care. You will also need to have a Cert IV in Mental Health or a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
To Be Considered For This Role You’ll Need
- Certificate IV in Mental Health, or a higher qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience working with people experiencing mental health conditions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff.
- Ability to assess situations and determine appropriate solutions to promote recovery.
