DescriptionThe Cybersecurity CASB Engineer will play a crucial part in protecting our organization's sensitive data by monitoring and managing application usage through a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution. This position will be responsible for tasks such as policy configuration, user activity monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
CASB Operations
- Configure and support enterprise-wide CASB solutions.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the CASB solution.
- Implement platform integration with additional cloud services as required to support business requirements.
- Draft support and configuration documentation.
- Assist in enhancing regulatory and compliance processes.
- Analyze user activity logs and identify potential security threats or policy violations.
- Investigate security incidents related to cloud application usage.
- Ensure solutions are configured to follow all relevant best standards and practices to support the enterprise.
- Provide technical knowledge as input into standards creation and update on an ongoing basis as products and technologies evolve.
- Provide technical support to internal users regarding CASB policies and procedures.
- Recommend and implement CASB policies to govern data access and usage in cloud applications.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track CASB activity and effectiveness.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of technology experience working full-time in a cybersecurity or related role with information security duties.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience with a CASB solution
- Working knowledge of CASB technologies and functionalities
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001).
- Technical knowledge and ability to use software, systems, and procedures to support the department.
Preferred
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Certified training in Security Management. CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
