Education and Years of Experience:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer-related field. 5-7 years of experience. Experience can be substituted for degree when demonstrated through a strong portfolio of completed projects in combination with verifiable certifications (i.e., Microsoft, Cisco, ASA, Palo Alto examples).

- Working experience of Enterprise Administration on Microsoft Stack
- Hands-on experience with VMware-VSphere
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Working Knowledge of Basic Linux and Unix servers (command line)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Servers

Certified OpenStack Administrator, Cisco Certified Design Expert, CCNA, CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Data Center Design Consultant, ITCA Networks and Infrastructure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Technology Associate IT
Location: This position requires the person to report to this primary location: 2401 Mill Road, Alexandria VA. 22314. There may also be a need to work at these additional locations:
- Primary Washington, DC: 300 7th Street, SW, Washington, D.C. 20024.
- Secondary New Carrolton, MD: 4100 Garden City Dr, Hyattsville, MD 20785.
- Other WMATA facility (in the Metro DC area) that a COTR may specify.
