DescriptionAs a Sr Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cyber Security organization, you are an integral part of the Network Product Line that provides connectivity to for clients across the Firm as well as the millions of J.P. Morgan Chase customers. Our security team works to design and develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions securing JPMC networks. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains.
Job responsibilities
- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to continuously evolve our network controls framework to constantly meet regulatory requirements as well as current and future cybersecurity needs
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems aligned to our controls framework. Design methods to effectively measure control effectiveness and derive appropriate metrics and risk indicators.
- Lead monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership providing updates on the portfolio's risk profile and control metrics.
- Leads security controls authoring and uplift working with cross functional teams and different stakeholders.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on security architecture practices and 5+ years applied experience
- Good knowledge of Network security and deep GRC expertise
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies and standards to drive uplifts for Network controls
- Experience effectively communicating with senior business leaders
