End User Computing Specialist

THE POSITION
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in End-User Computing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-user experience by architecting, implementing, and supporting advanced end-user technologies. This role requires deep technical expertise, experience in global deployments, and a thorough understanding of modern device management, virtualization, automation, and end-point security solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, to ensure the secure, efficient, and seamless integration of end-user solutions to maximize productivity and security.
Key Responsibilities
· Technology Solutions: Identify and evaluate end-user technologies to enhance satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
· Technical Architecture: Architect, design, test, and deploy secure end-user technology solutions aligned with business needs and security requirements.
· Research and Innovation: Stay informed on emerging technologies, conduct thorough research, and recommend strategic solutions for potential integration within the company.
· Platform Management: Develop and manage device policies, including implementation via Intune, Autopilot, and other centralized device management systems.
· Collaboration: Work with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other interfacing teams to address technical challenges, improve end-user support, and configure secure collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint.
· Software Distribution & License Management: Create and manage deployment packages through SCCM and Intune, overseeing software delivery, patch management, and license management.
· Standards & Compliance: Maintain a catalog of end-user device standards, assess compliance, and establish metrics for operational and service efficiency.
· Service Management: Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets within established SLAs and continuously improve user satisfaction.
· Documentation and Policies: Develop and uphold technical plans, IT policies, and documentation related to end-user computing.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Certifications (required): Microsoft 365, Defender, Entra, Power Platform, and other relevant certifications in end-user computing, virtualization, and device management.
· Experience:
· End-User Computing: 5+ years of IT experience with a focus on large-scale end-user computing, device policy development, and software management.
· Microsoft 365 & Security: Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Defender, and Intune, with hands-on experience in configuring secure collaboration and productivity tools.
· Active Directory & Entra ID: Experience in managing and configuring Active Directory and Entra ID for secure identity management and access control.
· Automation & Scripting: Strong experience in automating Windows updates, patching schedules, and software installations using Autopilot and SCCM.
· End-Point Security: Skilled in multi-factor authentication, encryption, and end-point backup solutions, with a focus on Zero Trust architectures.
· Network & Infrastructure: Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SSO, firewall configuration, and TCP/IP protocols.
Preferred Skills
· IT Service Management: Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Fresh Works.
· Vendor & MSP Management: Proven experience in working with global help desk vendors and managing SLAs.
· Leadership: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with executives, provide team direction, and oversee project initiatives.
· Key Technologies & Skills Required:
· OS & Hardware: Windows 10/11, EUC hardware and infrastructure, mobile devices.
· Device Management: Intune, MDM, MAM, SCCM.
· Cloud & Security: Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Active Directory, Zero Trust principles.
· Collaboration Tools: Expert knowledge in configuring and securing Teams and SharePoint for secure collaboration and data protection.
· Active Directory & Entra ID: Experience managing Active Directory, Entra ID for identity management and access control.
· Networking: LAN/WAN, WLAN, remote access technologies.
· Software Delivery & License Management: Strong background in software deployment, automated patching, and license management for end-user applications.

LOCATION AND COMPENSTAION DETAILS
· Location: Denver, Dallas, San Fransisco or Any STACK data center site
· Travel: Domestic travel up to 10%
· Compensation: 150,000 - 170,000 + 15% bonus
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must pass comprehensive background screening
