The Head of Technology Transformation is a senior executive position within JP Morgan's Global Technology organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Global Technology. This role is instrumental in driving strategic technology initiatives aligned with the vision of the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). This leader will spearhead transformative efforts to modernize technology infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with business objectives across JP Morgan's global operations. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and you will be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of technology transformation strategies in alignment with the overall business goals and the vision of the Global CIO.
- Technology Modernization: Drive the modernization of technology infrastructure, platforms, and processes to enhance agility, scalability, and resilience across JP Morgan's global operations.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge solutions to optimize business processes and drive competitive advantage.
- Change Management: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and change management within the technology organization. Champion transformation initiatives, foster collaboration, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners, to drive alignment and ensure successful execution of technology transformation initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
- Metrics: Define and track KPIs, implement data-driven approaches to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Work closely with data analytics teams to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Global Technology, including senior executives, technology teams, and regulatory affairs.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 15+ years in a Technology Transformation role or COO, Technology driving the execution of strategic technology initiatives across a large scale environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology transformation strategies aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of technology infrastructure, platforms, and emerging trends, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of leadership and success in driving technology transformation initiatives within large, complex organizations, preferably within the financial services industry. Prior experience in a senior executive role is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and influence others, drive change, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Proven ability to deliver tangible business outcomes through technology transformation initiatives. Track record of effectively managing budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve strategic objectives.
