The Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our customer information systems. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The ISSO will be required to work onsite 2-3x per week at the facility in Arlington, VA. There will be a Federal background investigation upon hire.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor and manage security measures for the protection of information systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Work You have:
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in information security and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

$130,000 - $145,000 a year
