Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Oracle EBS/EPM Engineer)
(This position is HYBRID working 2 days a week in our Denton Texas Support Center)

Essential Function
The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for gathering technical requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging and end-user training and documentation. Along with being responsible for both functional SDLC tasks and technical development. Work with end users, Third Parties, other IT staff and management to meet these requirements. Familiar with variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures that may be specific to a hardware platform or development language. Provides production support as directed by management. May occasionally lead and direct the work of others.
Primary Duties
60% Responsible for gathering requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging and end-user training and documentation. Writes new code or modifies existing code to meet requirements of company business applications. Tests or debugs his/her work to ensure that the functional requirements are met and that completed work is of high quality. Follows company development standards which are particular to their team.
15% Be responsible for both functional SDLC tasks and technical development working in an Oracle Financials application environment. Provides production support in the form of troubleshooting problems, break fixes, ad hoc data mining or other unspecified activities as directed by management. May be on call for afterhours support.
10% Performs review, analysis and design on new assignments identifying opportunities and challenges that may be signification to the successful completion of the assignment. Works with end users, Third Parties, other IT staff and management to define, plan and scope projects. Relies on experience and judgement to accomplish these goals.
10% Occasionally leads or directs the work of others.
5% Complies with existing documentation requirements required for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- Requires 8+ years technical experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financials
- Requires 3+ years technical experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Platform (EPBCS, FCC, ARCS. EDM, Freeform)
- Experience with Enterprise Schedulers
- Script development with Python
- Understanding AWR reports and PL/SQL fine tuning
- Strong architecture, design and development experience for products along with Integrations. Hands-on experience required.
- Technically proficient and strong expertise with Financial products, Data/SQL, Integration toolsets, Cloud/SaaS applications. Able to understand and work with Infrastructure teams
- Understanding of key financial business processes within the context of Financial applications – GL/COA, AP, AR, P2P, RTR, Cash Management/Treasury, Tax, Project Systems, Fixed Assets etc.
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay and 3-Way Match a plus
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials a plus

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc.. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
