As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a member of the agile acceleration and innovation team you will be drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple cutting edge technologies and applications by gaining the skills and experience needed.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
- Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Drive motivation and mentor team with latest technical knowledge & innovation.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
- Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
- Formal training or certification on Application Development concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
- AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification minimum at Associate level or working experiences of software development on AWS
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) like Java, Python etc.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, GenAI, LLM, GPT , machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Practical cloud native experience
- Self-starter who proactively identifies and solves problems in a fast-moving world.
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficiency in Azure Fundamentals and AWS Cloud
- Experience in Data Streaming and Event based solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud and Big Data technology.
- Experience with API, REST Service and Security/Authorization.
- Proficiency in Java , Python ,Web Servers, ReactJS
- Knowledge of LLM, OpenAI /GPT-4, Prompt Engineering, and AI Services
- Experience with AWS Data & AI Servers like Glue, EMR, Sagemaker and proficiency in Relational or Non-Relational (NoSQL) Databases
