The Team You’ll Work With …
As a Software Developer, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our Executive team and business leaders, contributing to high-impact, visible projects. You'll receive mentorship and support from our internal development teams while enjoying the freedom to innovate. This role reports to the VP of Technology and is located in Davis, CA. This is a Hybrid role 3 days onsite in Davis and 2 days remote. Our culture thrives on professional development, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth within the organization. This is an hourly position and pays $30.00 - $34.00 depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and generous stock options.
The opportunities you will have …
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support various business functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with executives and business leaders to understand challenges and propose technical solutions. Take initiative to identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation.

About You …
- Experienced Professional: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Proficient Designer: You have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles. You have excellent SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance. Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Javascript, Python, C++). Knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
- Creative Innovator: You are highly motivated and eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team Player: You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptable Achiever: You can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive Leader: A proactive mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
