The Oracle Life Sciences GIU leads in providing integrated data collection and data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety. Responsibilities
- Architect, design, create, and maintain the full stack (both front-end and back-end) of a customer-facing cloud-native application.
- Contribute to the creation and review of system and software requirements.
- Promote and support good software engineering practices.
- Adhere to company procedures and help maintain relevant documentation.
- Actively engage in all aspects of the software engineering process.
- Prepare test cases for software verification and validation.
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
