Job Description:
Designs and architects Cloud native applications using Mainframe/ MVS platforms, Angular, Amazon Web Services (AWS). Delivers next generation technology solutions. Collaborates with other leaders to partner with business teams on key innovation initiatives, establishing standard for the chapter, influencing the strategic decisions, delivering solutions, and directly managing a team of chapter members who work within autonomous squads. Performs review of software development cycle – analysis, architecture, design, coding, system and user testing. Works within an Agile methodology. Identifies and acquires talent needs, and handles resource planning and talent allocation.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing enterprise desktop containers and Cloud distributed User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) solutions to transform legacy mainframe applications in core brokerage and client experience domains.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing enterprise desktop containers and Cloud distributed User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) solutions to transform legacy mainframe applications in core brokerage and client experience domains.
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, architecting, developing multi-threaded distributed desktop and Web applications to present retail, clearing, custody, and family office customer/client data to operations services representatives, using WPF, ASP.NET, Microsoft Enterprise Library, Openfin, Glue42, Electron, PRISM, and Unity.
DE designing and developing Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) desktop solutions using Dot NET 4.0+ for Cisco and Genesys Call Center frameworks, that interact with desktop messaging bus event model to drive desktop container application and display clearing, custody client details, and multi-channel (Voice, Email, and Chat) transactional interactions.
DE developing technology strategy and vision by working with business stakeholders and architecture groups to supervise and deliver major technology initiatives using Angular, Dot Net, Java, AWS, and multi-tier micro service and micro-UI design patterns.
DE designing and developing desktop containers with mainframe technology solution (Microfocus Rumba),Client Relationship Management tools (Siebel and Salesforce), and Workflow processing tools (Camunda and XTRAC) to create cohesive user experience, reduce processing time, and improve operations efficiency.
