Responsibilities
- Provide Cybersecurity expertise and support across the entire program lifecycle.
- Research Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity policies, tools, techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Hands-On experience providing complex subject matter expertise for Cybersecurity programs and activities.
- Knowledge and insight in a technical and functional aspect covering a wide range of technical areas.
- Expert level knowledge supporting FedRAMP deployments.
- Interact with Federal and Corporate stakeholders for incident response, recovery, and prevention.
- Broad understanding of complex information assurance, cyber security, intel, infrastructure, operations, hardware, software, processes, systems, and tools.
- Experience developing detailed solutions, designs, engineering, environments, architectures, and provides expert advice and reviews for a variety of systems and engineering areas and oversees project implementation.
- Functional expertise in defining security requirements and developing security solutions for information protection.
- Experience with supporting IV&V and A&A activities.
- Experience with obtaining ATO for federal systems.
- Experience developing security policies and processes related to the protection of sensitive or classified information.
- Enforce and monitor effective cyber security policies and configurations and security event management within the logging and SIEM infrastructure.
- Have a strong understanding of the enterprise network and how each component contributes to Security Intelligence.
- Have a strong understanding of the tools & techniques necessary to efficiently identify trends and extract indicators from large data sources.
- Understand and work with various categories of electronic evidence including media, email, and networks.
- Keeping up-to-date with security trends and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in IT or related field.
- 8+ years of hands on Cybersecurity implementation, support for federal agencies.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools such as WAF, NIDS, and firewalls
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Continual learning attitude, with a desire to stay current with new tools and technologies in the field of DevSecOps
