This Cybersecurity COE Project Manager role in Washington, DC, supports a Randstad client by overseeing complex cybersecurity initiatives within the organization, particularly the Cyber Technology SOGR project. The Project Manager will work across multiple departments, liaise with various vendors, and utilize a structured approach to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and changes. Key qualifications include PMP and SAFe certifications and proficiency in Jira and Confluence, along with strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical leads, team members, and consultants/contractors.
- Develop and maintain essential project documents, including Project Charters, Management Plans, Requirements, Design, Test Plans, and Implementation documents.
- Produce weekly status reports on program progress.
- Conduct project status and other necessary meetings.
- Manage project schedules in Masterworks and report on variances.
- Maintain SharePoint project sites for document storage and tracking.
- Ensure project schedules and baselines are quality-assured and well-maintained.
- Report and manage risks with an ongoing risk mitigation plan.
- Track issues, utilize change management processes, and publish regular project reports.
- Deliver weekly status updates detailing activities, accomplishments, issues, and resolutions.
- Complete all activities required for operational readiness reviews on time.
- Evaluate product and proposal criteria for project alignment.
- Work with SAFe teams to deliver capabilities and maintain PLM artifacts.
Deliverables
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Present project updates at Quality Checkpoints and Departmental Reviews.
