Prioritized Must Haves For The Infrastructure Staff Engineer
#1. BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science or other related field
#2. 0 to 3 years of related work experience
#3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
#4. Experience with data management (e.g. SQL)
#5. ArcMap/GIS skills, highly preferred
#6. AutoCAD skills, highly preferred
Requirements For The Infrastructure Staff Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Up to 3 years of related professional experience.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in ArcMap/GIS and AutoCAD is strongly preferred.
- Experience with data management tools, such as SQL.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Employees using their personal vehicle for work purposes must provide proof of insurance and a valid driver's license.
- This role may involve frequent local travel and fieldwork within the DC Metro area.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team under tight deadlines.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and balancing competing priorities.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, focused on quality and results, detail-oriented, positive, and eager to learn and grow.
