Are you an experienced network engineer seeking an opportunity to work with a leading firm in the finance industry?
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their New York team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, implement, and manage high-performance, low-latency networks.
- Work with Arista or Cisco hardware, optimizing for ultra-low latency environments.
- Manage complex network protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Multicast (PIM - IGMP).
- Collaborate with the automation team on projects using Python and Ansible (proficiency in automation is nice to have, but not essential).
- Maintain network infrastructure for a trading or finance environment where speed and reliability are key.
Key Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Arista or Cisco network solutions.
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, Multicast PIM, and IGMP.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in finance or trading.
