What will you come with:
The Jr. IT Security Analyst will support the IT & Security Compliance team at IHCS and CMS organizations in identifying and prioritizing security risks and assisting with governance/compliance initiatives. This role requires a keen interest in technical issues and a willingness to learn.
The ideal candidate is intrinsically motivated and eager to stay up to date on the rapidly evolving security landscape, new SaaS technology, our IT technical and systems environment, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
The individual in this role will work closely with the IT & Security Compliance Analyst and the Manager of InfoSec, Governance, Security, and Compliance to support various aspects of security risk management and compliance initiatives.
What will you come with:
- BA Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
- 1-2 year of experience in IT (System administration), cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic understanding of information security concepts and best practices
- Familiar with HIPAA/HITECH regulations
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and SaaS systems.
- Experience with or exposure to Healthcare IT Systems.
Experience:
- Healthcare Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vulnerability scans (Qualys, Tenable/Nessus, Rapid7, etc): 1 year (Preferred)
- Security monitoring, SIEM ( e.g AlienVault, Splunk, Qradar): 1 year (Preferred)
- Cloud security: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cybersecurity: 1 year (Required)
