Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Program Manager to lead our IT governance, policy, controls testing, and assessment team. This role involves managing the IT Audit and Internal
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal control testing work, including hands-on detail work and presentations .
- Attend FISMA meetings with external auditors, challenge and negotiate findings
- Manage a team of 6 people within the policy, audit, compliance, and risk group
- Function as the intermediary internal control team and the Amalga internal control team.
- Support various internal control processes, including:
- Identifying, documenting, and evaluating internal control environment.
- Performing FISMA pre-assessments.
- Monitoring the closures of Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMS).
- Assisting in the creation and modification of internal directives, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting special internal audits.
- Evaluating IT contract/invoice requirements compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in managing IT audit and internal controls design, documentation, and assessment.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- CISA or CISSP certification required; both
- Experience in planning, managing, and providing technical oversight for the entire lifecycle of systems development activities, including:
- Corporate strategic planning.
- Analysis and design.
- Software development.
- Cost and schedule estimation.
- Use of accepted software engineering practices.
- Design techniques and tools.
- Review of legacy systems.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and direct experience in software engineering disciplines.
- Ability to coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- 8+ years of experience as a senior manager in Cybersecurity projects for Big Four consulting companies
