The Engineering Senior Manager will oversee multiple teams of engineers responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting our enterprise technology platforms and Workplace systems. You'll be at the helm of the strategic implementation of the industry's leading IT tools and platforms. You will be a leader of leaders across a globally distributed Engineering team, focusing on a diverse array of systems, including SaaS productivity tools, Identity & Access Management (Okta), Automation Platforms (Workato & Okta Workflows), Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (such as Jamf and Intune), Office 365, and more. FanDuel is focused on being cloud and automation first. Leverage new technologies like generative AI to drive innovation and creativity.

THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to play
- Develop and implement the company's technology roadmap in alignment with business goals and objectives that are measurable and provide clarity to stakeholders and our dependencies.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and high performance. Provide clear support, guidance, and mentorship to grow individuals and teams with strong organizational design.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of IT systems through robust monitoring, automation, and proactive management. Implement and refine processes to enhance productivity and streamline operations across all technology platforms.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategic planning for resource and budgeting. Provide well-constructed analyses and recommendations to stakeholders to support business impact and ROI. Manage the organization's technology budget and resources effectively.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness for various teams and business units.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (SOX, GLI) and best practices related to information security, data privacy, and technology governance.
- Establish, influence, and collaborate with Flutter Group, Flutter Divisions, and FanDuel departments, such as human resources, marketing, and finance, to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions accordingly to drive business growth and innovation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to leverage new technologies, processes, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices into the organization’s strategy enabled through IT.
THE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate
- Empathetic Leader with experience growing individuals, teams, and programs through clear support, guidance, and mentorship.
- Extensive technical expertise and experience in IT leadership roles, particularly within publicly traded technology or SaaS/Cloud companies. Deep understanding of cloud architecture, AI tools, productivity platforms, and security technologies.
- Effective communicator delivering transparency and clarity with the ability to explain technical risks and challenges succinctly to a broad audience, including regulators, leadership, principal engineers, and product managers.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to drive through ambiguity and define and execute project deliverables across multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated success in supporting and leading teams through IT transformations and significant projects.
- Pragmatic knowledge of fundamental cloud architecture, security technologies and tooling, and secure software development lifecycle practices. You’re familiar with SOX regulatory requirements.
- Data-driven individual with an analytical skill set that enables you to provide relevant recommendations and well-constructed analyses to drive decisions and execution. Ability to display and understand ROI of technology investments and department operational excellence.
- Experience leading a company through significant IT transformations or public listing.
- Experience leading a program through successful audits or equivalent framework assessments.

The applicable salary range for this position is $142,000 - $178,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
