As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market presence and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals, in alignment with Laxxon's overall business objectives
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a world-class sales organization, including sales executives and account managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organizations, leveraging your industry network and expertise
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Laxxon's product and their unique value propositions to effectively communicate their benefits to potential customers
- Sales Growth: Drive the expansion of Laxxon's customer base by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and overseeing the full sales cycle
- Market Insights: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product development and sales strategies
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the sales team, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales processes
- Sales Collateral: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and materials that support sales efforts
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Prior experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly desired
- Masters Degree is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, as well as market dynamics
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and metrics
