Delphi Technology Solutions is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator to add to our talented Network Services Team.
Delphi Technology Solutions is a MA IT firm with over twenty years of providing software and network solutions to public safety entities. Our customers are concentrated in Massachusetts, and this position would require residence within 40 miles of our Headquarters, located in Lawrence, MA. This position requires daily travel to customer sites. New employees will be subject to a background check within 30 days of employment and are required to maintain a record that does not conflict with the ability to work within a police department unsupervised.
Systems Administrator requirements:
- 3+ years experience in an IT role
- Experience with Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems & software
- Working knowledge of LAN / WAN networking and troubleshooting
- Experience performing routine computer system maintenance (applying patches, updates, and upgrades) to provide a stable and secure environment.
Systems Administrator preferences:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing or equivalent experience
- Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Experience performing data back-ups and disaster recovery
- Experience with virtualization
Systems Administrator Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Manage Existing Customer Environments:
- Travel onsite daily to customer locations to provide IT Support on a consistent weekly schedule
- Manage Windows Servers and associated server applications - Exchange Server, ADDS/DNS/DHCP, etc.
- Proactively troubleshoot existing IT systems and infrastructure
- Manage AD security groups and resource permissions as needed
- Manage network resources (printers, workstations, etc.)
- Monitor backup success and failures and address issues as necessary
- Monitor various event logs and address issues as necessary
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for issue resolution
- Report progress on various projects and tasks regularly
- Address client requests as needed
- Daily travel to client sites required
- Delphi Technology Solutions is based in Lawrence, MA. The Systems Administrator job applicant must have transportation and is compensated for mileage per company policy. Delphi Technology Solutions offers a competitive salary and a Monday through Friday work week with an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support for customer emergencies.
